Cadline is pleased to announce we have added two new Decorated URL Parameters for MapThat.
The DynamicMaps WebGIS – MapThat – has a range of Decorated URL Parameters that enable you to publish a URL to auto open a MapThat Project with inbuilt settings, including:
- User
- Role
- Project
- User, Role and Project combined
- Centre Map on Coordinates (E&N or Long & Lat)
- Set Map Zoom Level
- Auto load a Layer
- Auto load multiple Layers
- Auto show a bubble for a specific feature in a Layer
These decorated URLs enable you to simply publish a series of clickable links for users to open any number of MapThat Projects. These are a great way to then embed business specific mapping in your intranet and internet pages, to generate themed Map Projects e.g.
- A School Catchment Map
- A Flood Zone Map
- Or even this example, showing - Bomb Raid Locations from World War 2
In April 2021, Cadline updated MapThat with two new Parameters:
- ZoomExtents
- Filter Records
These two new Parameters now enable our MapThat clients to publish URLs where they can choose to show specific Map Features, filtering out the other records from the map. Or choose to auto zoom to the extents of a given Map Feature, so that users are taken directly to the data they searched for. In addition, these URLs can be combined so that you can publish a URL which enables you to filter a layer based on a given record and auto zoom to that feature!
These Parameters are perfect to enable you to present web mapping related to specific features, such as a chosen Planning Application, Land Title, Ward Boundary, School or in the case below an Open Space
