The DynamicMaps team is pleased to share that the latest version of our webGIS – MapThat – now has extra Data Table Filter options.
Previously you could filter records in the Data Table where the value being searched for was ‘Contained’ anywhere in the source data field.
However, we have now added three new options:
- Equals – allowing you to find records that exactly equal the value you search for.
- Starts with – allowing you to find records that start with the typed value.
- Ends with - allowing you to find records that end with the typed value.
The options are now available from a new Filter By drop down, which contains the 3 new options plus the existing ‘Contains’ option -
The new options now make it easier for you to find the exact records you are looking for. For example, any Planning Application where the Requestor field ends with the word ‘David’.
Using the Apply Filter to Map button will then filter the features in the map.
