We were asked would it be possible to keep the original wall material display and just apply a colour to it when applying a phase filter.
The default is to apply a phasing material which overrides the default material with one that appears as a solid fill in Plan View, which can be overridden but will not display the wall components.
The solution to this problem is to open the Phasing dialogue box, select the Graphic Overrides tab and in the Material Column, by new material,
overwrite Phase – New with By Category and the Wall material will appear as normal and you can use the overrides to alter its appearance. i.e. add colour and lineweight.
The final Result is as shown.
