In the Type Properties preview window shown below, we can see a 2- bolt clip-angle steel connection between the structural column and beam. To change the connection to a 4- bolt clip-angle we need to edit its parameters. To edit the parameters of a steel connection in Revit you need to select it and then click edit type in the property’s palette. In the preview window, zoom-in on the steel connection on the left side of the Type Properties dialogue box. On the right side of the dialogue box click the Edit Modify Parameters tab.
In the Edit Connection Type dialogue box, change the number of Vertical bolts from 2 to 4 as shown.
The clip-angle steel connection between the structural column and beam will now show 4 vertical bolts.
