Controlling the look of schedules, especially when certain parts of the schedule table contain images, can be tricky. With Revit 2023 and earlier, for example, you couldn’t directly change the height of schedule rows, as it was determined by the specified font. However, if the schedule contained images, the row height would adjust to suit the image. By adjusting the image column width, the height for the entire row resizes to suit. If some rows didn’t contain images however, the rows would remain at the height defined by the font size, resulting in an untidy and inconsistent output below.
Selecting the schedule table on the sheet just resulted in a blank properties palette!
With Revit 2024 additional row sizing options are available. By selecting a schedule table on a sheet containing some images, resizing tools are available for users, to affect no rows, all rows or rows containing images.
Resize all rows will resize all rows in the schedule! This also includes headers! Hopefully, this will be controllable and fixed in a future release of Revit. If too low a value is entered, Revit will revert to a sensible minimum size to ensure readability on sheet.
If using images and have Image Rows selected, the Row height parameter only affects rows containing images. The header and rows without images revert to heights defined within view setting defaults. This mimics functionality within older Revit versions.
