Q. Why aren’t parameters added to a Revit family component available when scheduling said component within a Revit project?
A. Assuming the part has been categorised correctly, it is most likely due to the parameter being defined as a family parameter. This can be validated by editing the component within the family editor, selecting the parameter and editing it. If the family parameter button is ticked that is the problem. A shared parameter needs to be setup in a shared parameter text file, stored in a central location.
