Question:
How can you update the BLPU Extents for an Address in the Cadline Address & Street Management Application?
Answer:
Having created a new Address LPI record within your LLPG, you can now also create the polygon that represents the extents of the BLPU. This is done using the Map window in the top right corner of the LLPG - Edit Address (BLPU) page.
Having found the new Address, in the Edit Address (BLPU) page and from the top right of the map window, choose the Edit button.
… the map window will now open in edit mode with the Drawing tools available in the top left of the map window.
Next, use the map window to pan and zoom to the location for the new BLPU extent.
From the Drawing tools choose the Create Polygon tool.
… before you start drawing the BLPU extents you can tick the option to enable snapping and then choose the snapping layer.
Then in the map window left click to start digitising the boundary. As we are using the snapping option, the left click will auto snap to any existing feature, to make your drawing as accurate as possible.
Double left click in the map, or simply click at the start location to complete the shape for the BLPU extents and the new polygon will be created.
If required, you can use the MOVE and RESHAPE tools to edit the BLPU extents as needed.
Now Press Save to commit the changes to the Address record, LPI and BLPU extents.
When you re-open the Address record, the BLPU Map will now update to the extents of the digitised BLPU record.
