Is it possible to configure a Favicon to be shown in the Browser tab for MapThat?
Answer:
Yes, from MapThat 5.4.1 onwards you can now define a Favicon.ico file to be inserted into the Browser tab for your MapThat.
By default, on the MapThat login page browser tab, we will now show the Cadline favicon.ico file.
If you require an alternate favicon file to be used on your Login page, please contact your Cadline Support Team who will be able to change this for you.
However, the Favicon shown once you login to MapThat can be configured per MapThat Instance, using the MapThat Admin Forms. In the Admin Forms, navigate to the GENERAL > PAGE SETTINGS page and search for the word Browser.
Then edit the BROWSER_FAVICON record and update the Value to point to an alternate favicon.ico file as required.
Having edited the location for the Favicon.ico file, press save to commit the changes. The next time a user logs into MapThat the new Favicon.ico will be used in the Browser tab.
In this example, we are now using the Favicon.ico for LB Islington.
