Flex tokens were introduced a few years ago, replacing Cloud Credits which enabled users to utilise a range of products and services.
The Flex token model is best suited for occasional users who can:
- Buy tokens to access a wide range of Autodesk products.
- Use tokens to access a product for 24 hours at a time or to generate a result.
- Assign as many users as you want to Flex and manage which products they can access.
If using Autodesk software on a frequent basis, is it generally best to buy an Autodesk subscription.
I was recently asked about Token usage, specifically on Revit, but the same answer applies for other Autodesk products.
The question was, if a user accesses two or more versions of the same product on the same day is that user charged twice or more?
The answer is no, Flex charges the daily token rate once per name user, per product, per 24 hours, regardless of product version.
