How can I change the standard grid display to an isometric grid?
Answer
From within the “DRAFTING SETTINGS” dialogue box, which can be opened by either right mouse click on the grid icon or button in the status line and selecting “SETTINGS”, or from the drop down menu “TOOLS” and “DRAFTING SETTINGS”. In the “GRID AND SNAP” tab at the bottom left, in the “SNAP TYPE” section, select “ISOMETRIC SNAP”. However this may give an undesired effect if you don’t change the grid type to dot, top right of the same tab.
