Colour Splasher
The Colour Splasher add-in is used to quickly create a colour scheme that reflects the parameter values of specific categories.
The Colour Splasher is a tool by BIM One that allows you to graphically visualise and verify the information in a model. It filters, selects and colours elements based on the values of a defined parameter to let you visualise if there are errors or a lack of information. The user first selects the desired category, then selects a parameter and finally, sets colours for each value of this parameter.

In Revit open the Autodesk Apps Store, type BIM One into the search bar and press enter.
In the following example, we created a scheme that shows walls with different colours depending on their fire rating.
The walls category is selected. Then, we select the Fire Rating parameter. All the values currently used in the project will appear. You can set a specific colour for each of these values.
