Question
If you dislike some of the new ribbon environments for Layers (or if the interface slows down), your specification PC then this variable can be tweaked to revert to the classic AutoCAD interface for layers, ie the 'old' layer manager.
Answer
Type in LAYDLGMODE Set to 0 (setting to '1' reverts to the default setup)
