Question:
Can 3ds Max draw shapes accurately, like AutoCAD?
E.g. Draw a shape using coordinates to accurately create a profile.
Answer:
On the command side panel there is an option for keyboard entry and the specification of coordinates for most shape objects.
Simply click on the line command, navigate to the keyboard entry section and input X, Y and Z coordinates as desired, clicking on close or finish when complete.
The coordinates should always be of an absolute type, working from the model origin.
