Just a quick heads up for you guys - on more than one occasion we've had a customer having errors either when creating or placing an ipart. The error when creating the ipart may be as follows:
"There are external dependencies found in the document. Please remove the dependencies then proceed with this command."
Or there may be a more cryptic error like this when trying to save or generate an ipart member
To solve this, check that there are no external links of any kind in your ipart (factory) before you generate the individual ipart member files. If you have any links (resolved or unresolved) then break these and then the member files should generate successfully. Hope this helps!
