The Copy Motor Tag to... command is available on the Cadline Localiser eXtras ribbon > Components panel. The command allows you to copy the motor tag to any other type of component with the addition of a suffix for the new components tag e.g. a cable may have the motor tag + a suffix e.g. W, an isolator a motor tag + a suffix e.g. Q. It can also be used to copy the protection device tag to the components underneath as well.
It also allows you to copy the motor tag to a terminal number with the addition of a suffix for the new terminal number e.g. a terminal number may have the motor tag + a suffix of e.g. U1, the next terminal - a suffix with W1 etc.
Command line shortcut: C2C
(This command replaces the Copy2Cable command on the extras ribbon. The COPY2CABLE command is still available as a command line-only entry)
Select Copy Motor Tag to…
Command line: Select motor:
Pick the motor >
Command line: Enter an optional suffix:
Type a suffix e.g. W (for a cable)
Select components (parent and children) or terminals:
The command stays in a loop until no suffix is entered or or Esc
N.B. You must draw a cable before you can use this command to copy a tag to a cable.
