“Freezing” or turning the “Layer Off” as shown in Figure 1 will influence the “Count” panel and therefore the inserted “Table”.
In this example, the “Layer” “Furniture Existing” is “Frozen” and “Furniture New” is “Off”. Any “Blocks” on these “Layers” will not be listed in the “Count” panel and not be included in the inserted table, as shown in Figure 2.
If a “Layer” is “Locked”, the objects on that “Layer” appear duller, as shown in Figure 3.
Since the “Blocks” are visible, they will be included in the “Count” panel and also in the “Inserted Table”.
