When using the “Array” command, whether it be “Polar”, “Rectangular” or “Path”, the end result is the arrayed objects, by default become one item. Hovering the cursor over the “Array”, the “Array” becomes highlighted, as shown in Figure 1.
Since the “Array” is now one object, to edit the “Array”, either single click on the “Array”, to edit via the context tab in the “Ribbon”, or double click and edit via the displayed context “Floating Panel”. The array will be highlighted and allow editing, as show in Figure 2.
When the “Count” command is used with a “Block” that has been arrayed, each “Block” will be “Counted” as a separate object within the “Count” list. The “Count Table” can be inserted into the drawing as shown in Figure 3.
If the number of items in the “Array”, require changing, the value in the “Count” pallet will update instantly, but the values in the “Count Table” will remain as prior to the change, as shown in Figure 4.
To update the “Count Table”, either “Save” or “Regen” the file, this will update the “Count Table” as shown in Figure 5.
Note: - The “Array” can be edited with the “Count” command still active.
