With the impending release of AutoCAD Electrical 2025, we will be releasing the Cadline (An Arkance Company) Localiser 2025, which will operate with AutoCAD Electrical 2025, 2024 & 2023. Adding to the already long list of comprehensive functionality and content, the following Tools 4 Electrical will be included in the new release. Further information on the benefits of the Cadline Localiser can be found in the overview:
- Combined additional manufacturers' catalogue databases facilitating easier installation.
- The additional manufacturers’ catalogue databases can still be installed individually if the user prefers.
- Combined additional manufacturers' footprint databases facilitating easier installation.
- The additional manufacturers’ footprint databases can still be installed individually if the user prefers.
- RITTAL updated parts catalogue information.
- WD library (which enables the user to create automatic wiring diagrams):
- 20 new generic symbols for top or bottom connection.
- 5 new PLC symbols with centralised data on either side for 32 & 16-way DI/DO PLCs or 8 AI. These are examples that can be used for other PLC parts as PLC’s are part specific where the pin information of the wiring diagram should match the pin information of the specific PLC part.

Modify Symbol Library command and will create an automatic wipeout on all footprint symbols within a library directory.
- New PID_mm_EMX library - enabling process-mechanical integration with Autodesk Inventor utilising the P&ID symbology. With Autodesk’s Inventor and AutoCAD Electrical, you can easily connect your mechanical and process engineering teams’ workflows which allows designers to simultaneously move products forward while maintaining connections and enhancing collaboration.
