AutoCAD Electrical can produce a graphical and a table format terminal strip automatically from the schematic data.
For the graphical representation, the manufacturers footprint associated with the part is used or if a footprint has not been associated, a generic single, double or triple deck terminal used.
For the graphical representation, it may be useful to show blue terminals as being blue so that it makes the representation more realistic and to depict intrinsically safe terminals as an example.
