AutoCAD® Electrical can assign cable core detail (for multi-core cables) either individually or by a single operation multiple insertion. The representation of these cable markers can also consider screens and tie-backs. AutoCAD® Electrical provides a few special shield symbols that graphically represent the cable shield type.
We will look at how you assign a multi-core cable which may go across several drawings. From an Excel type interface, the user can assign multi-core cable detail and the information will back update the project which may affect either a single drawing or multiple drawings.
