Revit has for many years had the ability to crease or fold floor objects, which is useful when working with more complex situations of ramps and other site features. The slab tool also is useful for structural disciplines as it can be classified as a structural object and can host structural rebar objects.
With older versions editing the heights of vertex and crease edges was limited to offset heights from the original object, however with the 2023.1 release, heights can be set relating to the current level, project base point, the survey point or the internal origin. The survey point is most useful as it ties in with real world coordinates and heights.
