In AutoCAD P&ID I can add Autogen properties through Project Setup. How can I remove any that were added in error?
Answer
Both Project and Drawing Autogen Properties are stored in the corresponding PnIdPart.xml file in the project folder. The exact name of this file will vary depending upon the units and symbol set used in the P&ID project.
To delete a property:
Open the PnIdPart.xml file with a text editor.
Search for the section “or """" as appropriate.
Within each section you will find several line items, one for each property, with a key and a description.
Delete the entire line for each property that you want to remove
Save and close the file
