I have been looking at an interesting method of adding "Checked By" and "Approval" information to drawings in Inventor, and I came up with a workflow that copied the user name of the Inventor user to the drawing, when they toggle a True/False Parameter.
The video below shows how it all works, but essentially all you need is to do, is add the following "TEXT" parameters to your drawing template
CheckedBY
CheckedBYdate
ApprovedBY
ApprovedBYdate
Once you have the parameters in place, you need the 2 rules (attached) You can then edit your drawing template and include the iproperties on your drawing border
