Welcome to this blog on creating a flat pattern from a solid part with lots of complex folds.
You may have tried to do this using the conventional tools in Inventor and been a little frustrated by the results or by the length of time it has taken to get those results.
Well my intention with this blog is to show you are really simple technique of creating flat patterns but with total control, great margins and great results.
