The display of the “Command Line” can also be adjusted to suit the user, again this function can be accessed via the “Customise” icon on the “Command Line”, as shown in Figure 1.
Selecting the “Transparency” option will display the dialogue box as shown in Figure 2.
Dragging the “Slider Bars” will control the “Transparency” of the “Command Line” and the “Command Line Rollover”. The “Command Line Rollover” is the action of moving the cursor over the “Command Line”. By default both values are set to 70% opacity.
The “General” slider bar controls the normal appearance of the “Command Line”. The “Transparency” value can be set between 10% and 100% opacity. Using a value of 100% will make the “Command Line” as visible as possible as shown in Figure 3.
The value can be set as low as 10% which makes the “Command Line” appear almost invisible as shown in Figure 4.
Having the “Rollover” value set the same as the “Command Line Transparency”, the user will see no change in the appearance of the “Command Line” when the cursor is moved on to the “Command Line”.
Note: - the “Rollover” value cannot be set lower than the “General Transparency” value.
To check the appearance of the “Command Line” prior to confirming the user define settings, hold down the “Click to Preview” button in the middle of the “Transparency” dialogue box, this will show how the “Command Line” will appear when the defined settings are applied.
