A welcome development with the recent Revit 2022 release was the improvement to how Revision numbering sequences are set. In the past, the function was somewhat limited and numerous workarounds had to be used to get the desired sequencing output. However, the Revisions Manager in Revit now has a new button, customise numbering which allows users to create bespoke number sequences to suit their revision note requirements.
Number formatting, start number, prefix and suffixes can be defined and saved to a named style and then selected from the numbering column within the Sheet Issues/Revisions Manager.
