The context sensitive right click marking menu offers you commands that are specific to the type of object you are right clicking over.
One of those functions is to turn on or off an attribute using List/Edit.
However this command only works on the one specific symbol. To turn on (unhide) or off (hide) multiple attributes on multiple symbols select the following:
Select objects:
You can Ctrl and Shift to select multiple attributes at the same time
