The Autodesk® AutoCAD® Electrical catalogue database is supplied using horsepower (HP) motor ratings. Use this app to convert these values to kW.

Download the file AutodeskMotorRatingConverter.msi and Run
Select Install Now
When the install has finished, the application will be available from the Add-ins ribbon tab
However if you have multiple versions of AutoCAD Electrical on your PC, it will install on the earliest version. The good news is the application allows you to pick the catalogue database you wish to convert!

Change the path of the database to the catalogue database you wish to update. Motors are held in the “MO” table. The backup database will automatically be in the same directory with a suffix of bak in case you need to revert back to the original.
