A common question I often receive from customers is whether Revit LT has view filters?
Unfortunately, no it doesn’t. Revit LT 2023 still lacks the ability to apply filters to a drawing view, although filters can be setup by a person using full Revit and then stored in a view template which will then be respected by Revit LT.
However, the Autodesk knowledge network is a little confusing as it alludes to a filter tab in the visibility graphics interface screenshot.
And also implies View Filters are available to LT users here:
Note number 5 in the list. Whereas upon inspecting the Revit LT (2023) interface, the filters tab isn’t within the Visibility graphics override box!
This feature limitation is confirmed in the Revit product comparison matrix.
View filters are only available within the full Revit version. I find this a little strange as filtering views is a key part of working in any Revit project. Hopefully Autodesk will address this omission soon as the full Revit has so many other features above and beyond LT including API functionality, Dynamo scripting as well as a full suite of collaborative, structural and MEP tools.
