Can I “Cut” objects from one drawing file and place it into another?
Answer
CTRL +X will cut the selected objects from the current drawing and temporarily hold them in the clipboard as with most windows applications. This action is also on the right mouse click menu under the “Clipboard” section. This will work with most windows applications but not all programmes will accept AutoCAD objects.
