Does iLogic make existing iParts redundant?
Answer
iParts and iAssemblies will continue to be supported by Autodesk. This is evidenced by the support for them inside iLogic itself. You can use standard snippets of code in iLogic to select different rows in the family table, or generated ipart/iassembly members can be switched (replaced) in an assembly just like any other model. Therefore any existing table-driven parts can still be used to create smarter iLogic models.
