Revit 2024: Baseline and Ordinate Dimensions
By default, we work with Dimensions which are continuous. This type of Dimension is called a “Dimension String”.
There are three Dimension Strings we can use.
• Continuous
Dimensions are created between two elements.
Dimensions are displayed linearly.
• Baseline
Dimensions are created between a reference point of origin.
Dimensions are stacked on top of each other.
• Ordinate
Dimensions are created between a reference point of origin.
Dimensions are displayed linearly.
