Question
I need to draw weld details using both the Fillet and Chamfer commands but both commands remove the original linework at the corners I am indicating welds at...is there a way to prevent this as I need to retain the corners?

Both the Fillet and Chamfer commands have a Trim mode, this can be set to No trim which is useful if you want to keep the original line work... (Note! No Trim also means No Extend...leaving the original line work at its original length and therefore possibly too short. Always set the Trim mode back to Trim>Trim mode once you have finishedwith this feature (Note! the same setting effects both Fillet and Chamfer...setting it on for Fillet also sets it on for Chamfer!).
