If you haven’t upgraded your AutoCAD Electrical to 2012, one new feature in the software is worth its weight in gold! Now when creating single line diagrams, topology or cable block diagrams the complete data of a part can be copied directly into the detailed schematic symbol maintaining 100% consistency of information. Of course the feature works bi-directionally as well meaning that you can draw the single line diagrams picking up the full data of the associated detailed schematic component.
